the pain shared between the two

1. How is the life of sweatshop workers in L.A. the same as those in Indonesia? How is it different?
the similarity between the two s that the workers are paid very little and both people are unhappy with their life stile. the difference is the other company makes sneakers and this one makes clothes. one is located in LA and the other one Indonesia.

2. Why is it that poor immigrants (newcomers) end up working at sweatshops? Why don’t they work as lawyers or doctors or at MacDonald's? they don't have documents in the us and without documents you cant work a normal job. another issue is education people in Indonesia never had the chance to have an education.

3. Predict what’s going to happen by the end of this movie
i think the movie is going to end them continuing to strike. it could take a long time to stop forever 21 or harder yet Nike to stop mistreating workers.

1. Who does Forever 21 blame for the sweatshops? Why?
they blame the contractor since hes the one to hire the workers.

2. What’s wrong with Forever 21′s argument?
it doesnt want to take responsibility towards the workers. the choose to do nothing abaut it.

3. Why do the workers continue to protest even if it means they might lose their jobs?
it not worth keeping a job that your not even paid much for, its better to speak up then to stay quiet.

workers are paid a dollor an hour twenty five a day a week

2. What is life like for Indonesian Nike workers at home?
life as a nike worker is terible, you live in a hut with fife or six peaple and conditions there can make you very ill.

3. Why won’t Nike talk to Jim or Leslie or let them visit the shoe factory?
because they dont want anyone giving them a bad name of their company . even thought there company are doing something wrong.
